The arrival experience began with a scenic and comfortable boat transfer, offering stunning views of Bora Bora's turquoise lagoon and Mount Otemanu. Upon arrival at the dock, we were warmly greeted by friendly and efficient staff who immediately made us feel welcomed. Our welcome gift included wine, macaroons, and fresh coconut, alongside personalized touches like a welcome letter and spa discounts, setting a luxurious tone for our stay.

Marriott Bonvoy Platinum members enjoy exceptional benefits here, notably complimentary breakfast, representing significant daily value. Although room upgrades to overwater villas aren't guaranteed, the property makes recognition clear through thoughtful amenities and service.

Our Garden Villa Reef room was exceptionally spacious, even by luxury resort standards, and tastefully designed with intentional décor. Highlights included a large private pool, expansive living areas, comfortable bedding, and thoughtful amenities like life jackets for safe lagoon exploration. Bathrooms featured high-end toiletries and ample shower space. The private outdoor shower was an unexpected yet welcome feature.

The resort itself is expansive and beautifully maintained, with bicycles and golf carts available for easy transportation. It boasts various activities, from snorkeling in the protected private lagunarium to paddleboarding, kayaking, and riding the giant water tricycle—perfect for memorable moments and great photos.

Dining at the St. Regis Bora Bora was outstanding. Lagoon by Jean Georges offered an unforgettable culinary experience, blending French and Asian flavors in dishes like octopus, truffle mashed potatoes, and chocolate lava cake.

Breakfast, complimentary for Platinum members, featured an extensive buffet and delicious à la carte items, including eggs benedict and fresh tropical fruits.

Farniente Ristorante provided surprisingly authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed yet romantic atmosphere.

Definitely visit Lagoon by Jean Georges, even if staying at another resort—it's worth the journey for the dining experience alone. Reservations are hard to come by, so book it asap.
