Location
Great location, fairly close to alot of the most notable landmarks in Washington, D.C. Just a 15 minute walk to the white house, but there are rentzble scooters near the hotel we used to get places even faster.
Arrival
Just simply amazing, valet took our car and our bags, didn't even let me try to take my own bags. They said, "If you take your own bags, we will get in trouble". Upon check in, the same person who took our bags, also offered and gave us complimentary champagne to start the stay!
Our room wasnt ready just yet when we got there before check in, because we booked via American Express's Fine Hotels & Resorts Programs, they upgraded us 3 times from a $500 per night room, to an over $3,000 per night room! Over 1k Sq Ft, and overlooked the Washington Monument! So, it was worth the hour wait!
Literally, couldn't have asked for a better check in, and stay in general.
Elite Benefits
Booked with cash via American Express's Fine Hotels + Resorts® Program, and with that, they upgraded us 3 times from a $500 per night room, to an over $3,000 per night room! Over 1k Sq Ft, and our bedroom window overlooked the Washington Monument!
We recieved a $100 credit that we used for the on-site Michelin Star restaurant, The Bazaar by Jose Andres. Which I highly recommend, amazing experience.
Also, we recieved a $60 breakfast credit, that could be used at the downstairs cafe, Peacock Alley.
This hotel did NOT however stack our Hilton Gold status daily dining credits, which some do, and some don't. Just depends, this one didn't, but we got amazing value nonetheless.

Room
Over 1k Sq. Ft. Overlooking the Washington Monument, bellhop walked us up directly to the corner room, largest room on the entire 8th floor of the hotel, Room 822. 2 rooms total, 2 bathrooms, a living room, and a huge bedroom. Lots of decedant classical art, gold finishes, automatic blinds, complimentary chocolates and 2 bottles of complimentary champagne. Simply, insane.
Property
Extremely fancy, well maintained, friendly and very posh. People in suits, champagne, and a harp playing when you walk in.
Food
The Michelin Star restaurant Grand Bazaar by Jose Andres was an experience my wife and I never had before. It truly was an exceptional experience with some of the highest level foods in the world. A5 Wagyu is a little overrated, but the Jose Andres specialty Oxtail, as well as the Bao, was just insanely good.
Other Tips
Just behind the hotel, prior to 4pm, you can go to the watchtower which takes you to the top floor and allows you to see D.C. from the top of the Waldorf, you can see the Washington Monument.
Summary
There's nothing this hotel could have done to make the stay more perfect, I would not hesistate to do a night here if you're looking to stay in Washington D.C.
